Autumn splendor at Glen Helen

A wonderful hike up at Glen Helen Nature Preserve near Yellow Springs, accompanied by Laura. Three of the scenes are by the stream we were walking along much of the time. The top right photo shows a bronze colour leaf against a backdrop of fungus. The lower two on the right show a beaver dam and the result it is having on the surrounding area - the water is now coming very close to the boardwalk! There were a number of other people out enjoying the sunshine with us, many with dogs, several of whom were enjoying catching sticks thrown into the stream.
