Hopfenschneiden

Another day in the hop yards. The first work to do in spring is the cutting of the hop plants. The plants have to be cut so they can grow anew.

Pictured is one of the oblique corner poles, which carry a big portion of the weight of the hop yard. And the sun even showed itself for a brief time.
