On the roof

A short walk with MrM this morning, down past the distillery building site on the way to buy some provisions. The building is really taking shape now, and the roof is going on. This guy was standing on top and seems to be looking at his mobile phone. Maybe there's a better signal up there? It's hoped that that the distillery will be open next summer, but it'll be several years before we can try the first single malt! Have a look at the rest of the building in the extra.

Several sea trout, some of them quite large, in the river today, trapped between two weirs until it rains again. There's not enough water in the river for them to jump the higher weir or to get up the fish ladder. Let's hope the heron doesn't get them first!
