new electric pole....

another busy day (clearing up after the storm) not doing my actual work!  This morning we realised that there was no water coming from the borehole.  After calling the water guys they realised that the lightning strike had blown up the capacitator and so it needed replaced.  They checked the electric gates on the properties and they are also damaged by the lightning.  This has been an expensive storm.

But...this evening the ZESCO (electricity) guys brought the new pole and we now have electricity!!!  Then they announce on the radio that from Friday to Sunday we will have no electricity due to maintenance!  This is Zambia!
