A Day at Cherry Run

What a lovely week we've been having! The weather has been sunny and warm, and so my husband and I took off again for the woods. It's where we're happiest, really.

This time, we took our chairs and daysacks and went to Cherry Run, not far from Lamar, where we walked a bit and then waded in the creek (water temp = 46 degrees F, new water walking shoes = excellent performance on their first outing).

This is one of several little wooden bridges we crossed, with red trail markers on the trees. November is starting out very fine, for sure, and we are getting in lots of walking, sunshine, and outdoor time!
