Devizes Wharf (Wednesday 10th November 2021)

My second attempt at getting a booster vaccination was successful, having been booked a couple of weeks ago for the Corn Exchange in Devizes. I parked on the bridge above the canal beside Devizes Wharf and was early enough for a footpath walk up to the main road and back, where I saw a pair of swans and this heron who flew upstream and landed a few yards in front of me.
I unintentionally managed to leave home with only my bridge camera and without my glasses, I think due to the stress of everything.

From Innervisions, though there was an edited version on a single, a later Motown period than I normally pay attention to, from when Berry Gordy and entourage had abandoned Detroit in favour of Hollywood, and indeed I do not have that album, but found it on the 2CD The Definitive Collection that I recently bought for £1 in a charity shop and was playing on this day.
