Lacecap

After the late frosts we had in May, I had to cut back the damaged shoots on the hydrangea so I wasn’t expecting any blooms on it this year. However, one single flower head appeared and has lasted for several weeks. Although the bug blousy mop heads are spectacular, I really like the delicate structure of the lacecap.
