Sula Lightship

The Sula Lightship is currently moored on the Sheerness Canal in Gloucester Docks.  Our friends from Norfolk are staying there at the moment for a few nights and we went to see them today as it was our friend's birthday.  We took her a birthday cake which went down well.  We had a guided tour of the lightship which is available for anyone to hire.  The owners live on the back half of the ship and the part for rent is the front part - a living room/kitchen, then downstairs an enormous bathroom and two double comfortable bedrooms.  Loads of original features, sloking floors and big chunks of metal.  all very atmospheric.

We had a lovely time!

I had a phone call from the Advanced Practitioner Psychiatric Nurse who was going to see Dad this afternoon.  She told me lots of new stuff about Dad's condition and changes of treatment.  She also said she would phone me tomorrow with feedback on her meeting with Dad today.  Youngest Nephew went to see him today - I was pleased about that - and he says he will go again on Friday.  He met the psychiatric Nurse and talked to her too.

So, things move on.  Let's see where they go to.
