Mimics

This is a full technicolour image. It was just a very grey sky. And the starlings and TV aerial matched the greyness.

I went out briefly to see if there was anything worth photographing. Otherwise I’ve been busy inside. In particular the arrival in the last 24 hours of two bookcases and desk, as well as a chair, has kept me busy, They all required a lot of self-assembly. Having taken everything apart after the redecorating we are now engaged in putting everything back together again, but not as it was before.

I like starlings. They are always chattering. And they can be excellent mimics. I was surprised to hear oystercatchers (they do travel over in Spring), but could not see them. Then I realised it was the starling gang, Fooled again !
