Introduction to pickle ball

The first social event with fellow transplants to California had been meticulously arranged by Steve for this evening under the pretext of playing pickle ball. Unexpectedly we were thrown off the court after only 15 minutes because the local Pickle Ball league was starting up and they had booked all courts this evening til 9o’clock. There was nothing else to do but walk away in a huff to the nearest pub.
