A day out

Today is Day 2 of Level 3 Step 2.

It was a glorious day, perfect for catching the bus into central Auckland and meeting friends for a picnic lunch before going for a stroll to find some street art that had been installed for Art Week. The art was somewhat under-whelming, but we had a lovely time chatting with our friends and just being out and about. It was sad, though, to see the city so empty and shops virtually devoid of customers.

The blip is a collage of sights from the day.

There are 185 new Covid-19 cases in the community today, including 25 in the Waikato and 7 in Northland. The remainder are in Auckland.
