Not a good start.....

.....to the day for this poor birdy....It didn't get any better either.

Looks like he/she hit the building's front door as I nearly stepped on it first thing. I hoped it was just stunned so I moved out of the way of more trampling feet, but by lunchtime there was no change in it's condition of death.
