Remembrance

We were down the centre for coffee with friends.  At the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month all fell silent for 2 minutes to honour the dead of the world wars and all who have lost their lives in conflicts.  It is appropriate that we remember those who gave their lives for our freedom.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn;
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning,
We will remember them.
