Crunch point

My constitutional took me through a supermarket car park. I was rather surprised to see this large van being reversed into the parking space. I thought the driver must have a parking aid as he continued coming backwards and I was expecting him to stop. But no, on he came and collided with the post and knocked it out of true.

The driver seemed oblivious because he did not investigate what I thought he must have felt.
