View from the Moor

We have uncovered a bit of a mystery on the Moor.   On our walk yesterday, Tony took me along a deer path to show me a small standing stone which had 'appeared'.  We couldn't find it but we did come across a rock with a circle mark we haven't seen before (and Tony pretty much knows every inch of the moor).  When we arrived at the standing stone spot, there was a man-made circle of stones across the path, filled with broken stones ??? Who would do that in the middle of the moor and why?  

Friend Angela and I returned today so I could show her the ring mark and we found the standing stone in a depression on its side, just beyond the man-made circle on the ground.  Do we have local Druids?  It's a mystery!
