GOLD LEAF AT333

My blip for abstract Thursday is a close up of a gold leaf brooch my husband brought me years ago. It’s a real Aspen leaf and is collected and dried to remove all the moisture. The leaf is then given a thick 24k gold coating and turned into a beautiful leaf pendant, necklace or in my case a brooch. Thank you Ingeborg for hosting this challenge which is getting closer.
 
We’ve had a lovely day first we took Dexter to The Groom Room for a bath, blow dry and nails clipped. It’s his first time and he was very good and looks and smells lovely now. We’re back home and relaxing for the rest of the afternoon. Thanks for visiting my journal, speak again soon.
