That’s my grampa Bob McKnight, back row far right. He fought in Palestine alongside Lawrence of Arabia. He was in the Lanarkshire Yeomanry, a farmer’s son who was a skilled horseman. He returned home in 1919 and rarely spoke of the horrors he’d seen. Never forget.......
