Dark early

I don't like it when the clock falls back an hour in the autumn, marking the end of the daylight saving time. I know it is a selfish point of view but as I'm normally at work in the morning it doesn't really matter to me whether the sun rises at 6.30 or 7.30..or even 8.30! It's in the afternoon that the daylight is more precious to me and now that the sun goes down so early, my afternoon walk coincides with the sunset so all I get is the last glimpse of sun before I have to snap a photo for my blip. No time to look for invertebrates, just a quick "portrait" of what I think is Salvia in the golden field of grass! I guess that is autumn in a nutshell for me!
