The African Woman
This weeks walk with the RWP took us down to the South East of Edinburgh and the metropolis of Pencaitland and the walk round the perimeter of the Winton estate. After a bit of a false start, a bit of head scratching and asking a local only to find we were within 50m of the start we set out on another fine autumnal walk on good paths with fine weather we walked the 8km (or that was what the guide said it was) and got back to the car in about three and half hours. Another nice addition to the catalogue of comfortable but interesting walks.
The African Woman is a mile marker to remind walkers how far some african women have walk in order to get water
