Batsford Arboretum Blipmeet 11 November 2021

They'd definitely seen it come this way, and at some speed.  That said, there was still some debate over what it was that they had actually seen.  Opinions differed.  It was either Incredibish's new hairpiece, or it was the pheasant that Technophobe had surprised earlier on.  Although there was no sign of movement they'd staked out the tree and were keeping careful watch as in either case it would definitely make a great shot for their daily blip...

All jesting aside, we had a lovely day visiting Batsford arboretum for the excellent Blipmeet organised by Steveng. Cathy and I were a little late, as the Fosse Way had been shut at Cirencester for roadworks and we had a lengthy diversion.  Despite that it was a lovely drive - the beech trees and hedgerows are just about perfect for colour at the moment, particularly with the occasional hazy sunshine.

I've put up one extra, showing a Blipper still hard at work, honing his craft.

Batsford is a new arboretum to us.  It was well worth the visit, with some glorious colour even in the slightly dull light that greeted us on arrival. There were twelve of us which counts as a pretty large Blipmeet (I think I have this correct):

Hildasrose and Rob
Steveng and Gill
Technophobe and Loose Canon
Fitzbilly and Lynn
Incredibish and Happy_Janwen
Myself and Cathy
