Snoozing

There's no way I would have spotted him if someone else hadn't and I've no idea how they did.  I can only guess they knew where to look or it moved at the right time.  I've always wanted to see a tawny owl, admittedly I'm still waiting for one to blink straight at me but I'll sure take this for today!  A tiny patch of sunlight just reached him through the undergrowth.  I couldn't believe how low down he was sitting.  There was a little scratching that went on, but generally, snoozing. 

This was followed very shortly afterwards by an overdue catch up with R&H - very nice it was too.
