Garden Autumn Colours

Managed to get the borders on the lap quilt today after unpicking a square that was wrong!!.  So in that sense didn't do as as much as I planned.  Steamed the beetroot and made Leek and Potato soup for lunch - it was good.  After lunch having dropped KG for table tennis I went on to Amanda's showed her the quilt so far and she was pleased with it.
Picked KG up about 20 past 4 and it wa getting dark and I hate driving in the dark
MY blip today was taken about 7:15 this morning and  is the acer leaves which are turning beautifully - 1st extra Smoke Bush displaying its autumn colours and  a soggy leaf with raindrops 
A brighter day  but still damp
