Morning Walk

I had a walk with friend Diane today after ages. We dropped G off at school and then walked a few kilometres. The weather has cooled down noticeably, making a 10:30 start bearable. Walking back to the car was a different story! It was great to see so many people enjoying the beach.

We had coffee and a chat after collecting G. Home much later than expected for a quick lunch. I had to do my invoice coding, and before we knew it, it was time to leave for Kids Club. We had a few eager kids who need help in a few areas (listening, remembering).

The park we meet at is quite a distance away, made worse by end-of-the-week traffic. I said to G we should find a park closer to town. It was past 8 when we got home. Roll on the weekend!

PS. The boat floating in the sea is a local racing boat called a jalboot. Racing season has begun here.
