Rusty Sunrise (2)

Another delightful day to have a holiday dog. Rusty and I were out fairly early and stayed a little closer to home than yesterday.
When we got home I cleared up a lot of the debris from chopping down the trees the day before. It felt especially important because the trees hadn't fallen onto our plot, but onto the neighbouring land.  That land is sort of unclaimed, but used by our neighbour in various ways, so clearing up our mess seemed sensible. (Soon it'll all be covered by snow anyway!)
In the evening we went to Film Studio in town, to see the first of two films we should have seen in spring 2020, cancelled as Covid became a feature of our lives. Unfortunately there had been a mix up about dates so when we arrived the theatre was dark. The first film is next week! But a quick phone call led us to Ruth's, because we had her birthday present in the car.
Home again about 9 in the evening, and a final walk in the darkness with Rusty.
