Thursday: The Other Acer

Mild day with very light showers.
Started pruning the black leaved elderflower, the Robin was very excitable and I was worried I’d step on him, but all was ok. Mr Blackbird and a very angry Wren also arrived to check up on me as I was clearing all the pruned branches and putting them in the green bin.
Rinsed the onions I peeled and salted yesterday, dried them off and warmed up cider vinegar, local honey and pickling spice, 2 large jars to add to my collection!
Washing dried between light showers, southerly breeze perfect for my washing line!
