We will remember them

Manic and messy day at work today but all worth it. After period 1 all the kids headed down to the bus pickup area to be shepherded down to the Hessle parish church. Here we had our Remembrance Service. The whole school was there plus some people from the locality. A roll call was done for those lives lost, boys who spent their youth at our school. Quite poignant when three names were read out from the same family. The kids did us proud, they were quiet and respectful. Then it was back to the buses, school and a catch up break. Then lessons resumed as normal.
