Chew Valley Lake

A trip down memory lane for us all today. Armed with cushions and blankets, we headed to the picnic area at Chew Valley Lake for a take away lunch of fish and chips, somewhere we often used to visit when my brother and I were children. The gulls were watching us intently for stray scraps, but they were out of luck today.

Another early start, this time for the hospital bed etc to be collected, and to then rearrange downstairs. Thank you for all your recent good wishes, mum is making good progress in her recovery. This evening the early festivities continued with Chef putting on a buffet of all our favourite Christmas nibbles. A very overcast day and 13 degrees, but felt colder.
