Killing Time
Thank you to Nick for the contribution of his artistic vision to today's photo.
After a late night last night, we had a lazy day today in Chambéry strolling around in the rain, visiting a museum, and visiting a new cave à bières which specializes in French microbreweries. Chambéry, like many old French cities, is filled with winding alleyways created by buildings built onto one another, leaning on each other for support. Alleyways that are very confusing to navigate, so much so that you always end up popping out of the alleyway in a place far different than where you imagined you would, and after a year of living in Chambéry we still haven't memorized the maze. We were navigating these alleys searching for Jean Jacques Rousseau's house, which we were shown on a walking tour of the city two years ago but had forgotten it's exact location, when Nick stopped me and said "hey, this would make a great photo." So I snapped it, and he was right! Although I took 32 photos today, this was the photo I chose.
