Lola .....

..... in the river.

This evening after work I had a wander down to the river intending to photograph the ducks, but they had other plans and kept their distance ( Maybe I shouldn't have taken plum sauce and pancakes along with me ). I really need to get myself a longer lense so that I can zoom in as I only have the 50mm and the 10-20mm that I have on loan, both lovely lenses but neither are great for photographing shy animals.

Luckily, whilst I was laying on the pebble beach next to the river, Lola ( a lovely little papillon ) here came along with her owners and kindly decided to stand in the river right in front of my camera. It's not the sharpest photo as I had the lense on manual focus trying to photograph the ducks a bit further away, but it's my favourite photo taken today.

I have an unexpected bonus day off work tomorrow, so I will try and get out somewhere interesting ( after eating Percy pig ). Thank you all for the lovely response to my annual flower blip yesterday, I still won't be blipping another flower in the next 12 months though ;). It may be a bit out of focus, but today's blip is .....
