Encroaching shadows late Friday afternoon

A wet, windy and humid 24 hours has been replaced by late sunshine and the promise of a fine weekend. Going to the Gold Coast for a 2 night mini-break tomorrow. Staying at the Q1 building in Surfers Paradise which was for a time was the tallest residential building in the world (so they say). Hopefully we are not on the higher floors as the beach will be too distant a "view" (65+ stories).
