~~~~ The roofers have finished ~~~~~

Next week the scaffolding will come down.  What a relief to have the job done, its taken 6 weeks, when all going well could have been done within two weeks.  The lads were happy to have their photo taken so seems fair that they should have their time in the (extra) limelight.  (since deleted)

We sweltered here today consistently sat at 30 deg most of the day, reaching a high of 30.7 deg.  Doug and I are tonight a couple of washed out rags.  Not sure how the roofers coped, but I kept giving them jugs of iced water to keep hydrated.  

Covid - 201 cases, 85 in hospital ...cases spreading in Taranaki and Waikato.
