Emperor Akihito's reign, the Heisei (Peace) era, was peaceful, at least for Japan; let's hope it continues during Emperor Naruhito's Reiwa (Beautiful Harmony) era.

Another fun, if slightly cold, Sports Day at Oji Stadium. Always a joy to watch the children competing in their events. I treated myself to a hot chocolate and strawberry drink at Starbucks to warm up; a delicious drink fit for an emperor.
