frozen fruit

Last night the temperature dropped well below freezing. So all the old crab apples that have been hanging around in a refrigerator type environment are now frozen solid. This Dark-eyed Junco looks a little disappointed.

Speaking of refrigeration and freezing, I did take possession of my new fridge last night at 6 pm. It was dropped off (not installed) just 15 minutes before my Community Group arrived for Bible study. The perfect timing in all that is that when I went to hook up the water line it sprung a leak, but one of the guys in the group knew how to fix it. Then after everyone left I brought in my perishables from the back porch and dodged the deep freeze last night. I am definitely not disappointed!
