….. ….. of these beautiful peonies.
Their faded colour has mellowed into a gentle reminder of their former intense salmon pink, but I love crumpled look.

A lot more unpacking today, over the road at my friend M’s new villa. The furniture removal guys returned and took away two huge bags of packing papers plus a very satisfying heap of flattened boxes. M’s daughter is still here too and together we made lots of progress.

The situation in NZ following the Govt’s’ announcement of mandating vaccinations in more & more situations is very concerning. People are very angry & frustrated, with talk of some having to isolate in garages and other unsuitable places, and health workers not delivering the needed supplies. The numbers of infections & hospitalisations are soaring. Apparently more protests are planned for this weekend.
