Streekgenoten?

Streekgenoten are people from the same region. I found cheese in our supermarket that said "streeckgenoten". So I assumed it was locally made cheese. What got my attention was that it said "tsiis" which is pronounced similar to the English word but with ts in stead of ch. Which is not a Dutch word, but Frisian. All the way up north in the Netherlands. Not local at all! Did they move my hometown during the night and was I just not aware of it?
