Sherborne Abbey.

Emily worked from home today so after lunch we took ourselves off the short distance to Sherborne. The town is pretty enough with lovely shops and cafes but the Abbey (now the Parish Church) is magnificent. With superb fan vaulting and an unfussy interior with uninterrupted views of the windows at each end.
And now, in the words of The Pixie “It’s the weekend baby”.
