Our neighbours for the week

Well, despite my misgivings and weather-based fears, our ferry did sail to the outer islands last weekend, and we are now back with mum and dad on Skye after a lovely, relaxing week in South Uist.

We arrived a little later than planned, so the light wasn't great for taking an "on arrival" shot, but these sheep did wander over to greet me as I stepped out with my camera after tea. They were pretty attentive neighbours while we were there. We saw lambs-a-plenty during our stay - clearly no-one had told the sheep that spring is on hold this year!
