Red Kite

We went over to Rhayader today in deepest darkest mid-Wales, to see the red kites. We were a bit late for the feeding but managed to get a few photos of the stragglers.

This photo doesn't show that there is still a lot of snow on the ground...... and that it was freezing cold. We were going to have a hot chocolate afterwards from the farm vending machine, but its water supply was frozen and had been for weeks!
