HAWESWATER

The annual visit to see the one Golden Eagle in England. Well G didn't, but I had already gone the opposite way off piste, or is that p***** off, and had a wonderful day. The camera is practically worn out.

After I had answered questions about had I come across any dead animals because three chaps were looking for something for dinner; no. Had I seen the Golden Eagle, no, I was in the next valley. And had I seen a Unicorn, yes three, I carried on my merry way. Although sometimes over my knees in snow it was a wonderful escapade and just what I needed at the moment.

Now back to a disappointed eagle hunter .......
