Iconic....

.....absolutely 'over the moon' to finally be at Lake Tekapo when the lupins are flowering, a shot I've always wanted from day one of blipping, I'm stoked!

Leaving home we struck heavy rain, no mountain views, temps of 10C until we hit the McKenzie Basin, the sun came out to play, hints of mountain tops were in view as cloud slowly lifted, Lake Tekapo was 18C! We were roasting after our walk.

As we traveled further south, cloud and showers returned, temperature back down to 10C but calm, mountain views have disappeared. Looking forward to dinner at the Boots and Jandals pub, we're in Omarama for the night.
