Enjoyed…

a good long walk up the Dulnain in very warm weather. When the birds eventually got up there were Crested Tits calling in all the trees, Crossbills calling and flying, Fieldfares flocking and feeding, Ravens and Buzzards over the higher areas. Nothing was still for long so was delighted when a Bullfinch and Crested Tit posed for more than two seconds!
The main is the Archers Memorial. Ian beag (Little John, but not that one) saved the village from the marauding cattle rustlers in the seventeenth century.
