Day out

We had a lovely day wandering around Stratford upon Avon today.  It has been so long since we had a day out from home.  We walked along the river to Holy Trinity Church to check out Shakespeare's burial place. It was busy considering it is the middle of November.  We then wandered through the streets looking at the architecture and dodging hoardes of people.. (more than I have seen in a long while!) We found a quiet cafe where we sat outside and had a delicious coffee then wandered down to the river to find the sun glinting on the water and looking gorgeous.  There was a busker playing lilting music and the cackle of geese and gulls in the air.  We thoroughly enjoyed it. Then home for tea and some cake before watching some rugby and going out for supper... a fun day.
