Three Spires

Today we went to Lichfield, a city we’d never been to. As you may remember we’re on a mission to visit all English cathedrals, so this is number 28, about 1.5 hours away.
We’d also booked for the light and sound experience Poppy Fields in the evening,
The cathedral is glorious a proper medieval church, the only one with 3 spires- stunning architecture inside and out. The front is also ornately carved.
We then wandered round the city before going back to see the installation which was like being in a very hectic kaleidoscope!
The cathedral was definitely worth a visit. I liked this autumnal reflection as we approached.
