Day 3 - a drawing of a flower

As a friend brought us some flowers from her garden, thanks again!! I decided that would be the topic for today's drawing. I have a list with topics but I use them in random order to accommodate for opportunities like this and mood swings,....

I have to say, I felt quite overwhelmed with the assignment I gave myself today. Flowers are tricky. So, after staring at the different flowers for 10 minutes, I thought I just start on one as I felt the courage slowly making it's way to my toes..

With my despicable knowledge of flowers I guess this is some sort of Iris?

Don't judge me on my lack of flower knowledge or drawing skills for that matter, this is about perseverance and commitment and trying something out of the comfort zone. If my drawing skills improve over the 30 days, then that is a bonus.
