Lord Mayors Show

I was up early to get to London for the Lord Mayor's Show today, tasked with taking pictures. Saw lots of familiar faces and was utterly delighted to bump into an old friend who I normally have lunch with on Rembrance Sunday but can't this year. He has also had a rough year so it was a joy to see him (and his daughter).

Police out in force today, I saw 4 arrests and 3 protesters literally dragged off the road as they had lain down in front of the horses in the picture.

Today I'm grateful for:

Chance meeting with a dear friend
A chance to remember a much loved Aunt this afternoon
