Trip to York

Had a great day in York today, my bestie L had paid for us to go see the Van Gogh immersive experience at St Mary's Church in York. OMG it was amazing and took lots of photos, but wasn't sure of the copy right thing, so I have posted a shot of a rather cool door knocker. About 9 years ago L and I went to Amsterdam for the weekend and visited the Van Gogh Museum, which was amazing but way too many people in the museum and didn't get the best views of the paintings and felt hurried. Todays experience was totally the opposite, possibly a couple of dozen people sat in a church totally immersed in Van Gogh images 360 degrees, absolutely blown away and so relaxing and mindful. 
Afterwards we had a good wonder around the city centre, mooching up the shambles and then had a lovely lunch of posh cheese on toast :)
