Birthday portrait

Son Peter and his daughters, 2 days after.    How can he be 55?    Tatum came home for his birthday on Thursday and was still there today.   She had school ( online) on Friday but Fiona’s school was cancelled !,!!!!   Due to not enough staff the day after the Nov. 11 holiday.  That’s never happened before.   Not enuf subs.   Blame covid.  Anyway Fi  chose to hang out here today and bake cookies for her dad.    Never made them gluten free and totally plant based before. ( his choice) They do taste different.   Ginger snaps and oatmeal chocolate chip.    Can see in extra.  And Fi’s new glasses.  We made stamp cards. 
 Terrible traffic because the bridge between us has been stuck open for 2 days and today there was a UW football game ( won by Az! In the rain) and a hockey game and more atmospheric river!     
My other journal shows the entire lane taken up by buses … 
Last night we watched grandson Nik in his first college basketball game !  Streaming.   Very fun to see him get to play a little. 1st bucket , block and rebounds.
