My Little BIG Tree

It actually belongs to my community and the World. But each day as I circle it to come and go from my home, this lovely little maple at the entrance makes a BIG impression. It bids me Good Day when I stop for the light, or breezes Welcome Home when I return. It’s graceful curled branches, vibrant seasonal color, but quiet presence can be overlooked, taken for granted, by most. It’s stands small but proud during the sun, rain, snow and winds of the seasons.
