College Student

Our daughter, who we are visiting for a couple of weeks, is a college student at California State University Long Beach. We couldn't be prouder of her. Not only is she a good student in the Biology program, she is also on the CSULB crew team (with 5:30 a.m. practices six days a week) and she lives on her own without any parental units close by. She is not able to pop home on the weekends to do a little laundry or have some home cooking. She has to do everything herself, with only a bicycle or the bus for transportation. Quite the grown up at age 22, but we sometimes feel like slacker parents.

She gave us a tour of her campus today - showing us where she spends a good deal of her time. Her she is coming to meet us after just finishing yet another test.
