Bamburgh Castle

BB didn’t have rugby today, no training and no match, therefore no rush this morning.  TT went to church, I baked and BB was still in bed.  I was going to make pancakes, but BB didn’t get out of bed in time.  I did make a chocolate cake – and he proceeded to have a slice for breakfast!  TT then had a slice when he came back from church!
 
Once their cake eating was complete, we headed down the A1 to meet up with TT’s sister and husband, leaving the sunshine of East Lothian behind.  We met at a café for a nice lunch with lovely cakes then drove over to Bamburgh for a wander in the afternoon greyness.  We had  a lovely walk along the beach and though the village and all too soon it was time to go our separate ways.
 
We picked up pizzas on our way home which made a quick and easy tea and then we three settled down to watch a movie.  After much discussion, we introduced BB to Austin Powers.  He laughed a lot!
